Description
We are delighted to continue our highly successful family Christmas lecture series in partnership with IET, RSC and NI. All are welcome so bring a friend, non members welcome.
From the very mundane to the very hot and the very cold: this talk will take you from hair gel to a hydrogen explosion in sixty minutes via more than a dozen chemistry demonstrations. Explore the importance, fascination, beauty and FUN of science and chemistry.
Join us for mince pies from 17:30 pm and the lecture starts at 18:00 hrs.

Our presenter, Nick Barker, has run a schools outreach programme at the University of Warwick since 2008 and has organised educational chemistry events for over 60,000 young people. His work has taken him to the USA, South Africa, Singapore, Ghana and Bristol.
