Description

Inspiring the Next Generation

Want to enthuse children about STEM? Come and have a go at some fun, engaging design and make projects and find out how they can be used to inspire the next generation. Create your own vibrating brush monsters, Cartesian divers, balloon buggies and CD racers, whilst learning how to conduct these activities in schools.

The projects are designed to tie in with curriculum learning objectives in forces, electricity and materials. Open to STEM ambassadors and other interested adults. Non IMechE members can email Caroline directly to book a place on technologyforfun@hotmail.co.uk.

Class kits of materials will be available on request, free of charge, to facilitate running the activity with schools and clubs.

Other fun project ideas will also be available for participants to try out. Check out www.technologyforfun.co.uk for more information on STEM design and make activities.
