Join the IMechE Devon and Cornwall Area Committee for a special tour of Aldermans, one of the South West’s leading metal fabricators. With over 50 years of experience, Aldermans specializes in sheet metal fabrication and custom metal parts, offering a one-stop shop for metal assemblies.

Managing Director Karen Friendship will personally guide us through their Plymouth factory, showcasing their advanced CNC machinery and cutting-edge processes, including metal bending, laser cutting, welding, and powder coating. History:
Founded in 1969 by Bill Alderman, Aldermans started as a press tool-making business. After years of growth, multiple factory moves, and expansions into new industries, the company remains family-owned, now led by Bill’s daughter, Karen Friendship, with a team of 50 professionals.
