Summer social event.
Meet at Cholsey Station platform 5 at 11.15 on Saturday 12 July.
The 10.50 departure from Reading and the 11.02 departure from Didcot both arrive at Cholsey at 11.07 (ideal for meeting at Cholsey platform 5)

There will be a complementary train journey on Cholsey Wallingford Railway (CWR) from Cholsey to Wallingford on the preserved first generation DMU single power car (affectionally known as a bubble car) - see picture below. Our train will then take us back to Cholsey and return to Wallingford, where we will disembark train and have complementary lunch. This will be accompanied by an explanation of the heritage of the CWR.

Then the train will take us back to Cholsey.
