Fukishima lecture – An Analysis of the Fukushima Accident and its Implications.
Prof. A.J. (Tony) Wickham worked for CEGB and then Nuclear Electric for 27 years in support of the UK commercial graphite-moderator reactor programme. Since 1997 he has worked independently for many national and international organisations in the nuclear field, moving more and more into decommissioning activities. He is chairman of the IAEA International Knowledge Base on Nuclear Graphite and of an IAEA Collaborative Research Programme on Treatment Options for Irradiated Graphite Wastes. He is also a Visiting Professor at The University of Manchester and a Visiting Lecturer at The University of Brighton.
