Description

The government’s Renewable Heat Incentive 'RHI' encourages use of new heating technologies.

The seminar will give you an overview of Ground Source Heating, Biomass & District Heating, Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion and Solar Thermal Storage. Explain how ground source heating works and its use as part of a low energy strategy for both commercial and domestic buildings.

You will understand how biomass boilers can be used as the heat source on district heating schemes. We will cover how waste can be used to generate Biogas from anaerobic digestion and how the earth can be used as a solar heat store.

This will be explained with reference to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and DECC heat strategy, thereby giving you the knowledge to begin the project of installing your own domestic or commercial system.
