This is followed by a presentation which will give an overview of the project to introduce a UK variant of the Vossloh EuroLight locomotive into the UK.

The presentation will outline the underlying reasons for the design of the locomotive, the steps used to confirm the prototype vehicles’ suitability for the UK, outline development of the UK locomotive design and highlight the current challenges in certificating a new locomotive for use in the UK.

Finally, the presentation will give a brief resume of current project progress along with future development opportunities for the Vossloh UK Light locomotive platform.
