Description

For this year's IMechE Lecture at the Stroud Festival of Manufacturing and Engineering Week (Festomane) the subject is the the Dudbridge Locks Hydro Electric Scheme, a part of the Cotswold Canals Restoration.

The scheme is a fantastic example of modern technology in the setting of Heritage Engineering. Today, the project is successfully generating electricity.

Join us for a talk to learn about how the project was completed, the successes, the challenges, and its contribution to the local community; and of course, discover the engineering details of the scheme.

You can find out more about the project at the Canal Trust's Web Site.

And see more pictures at the Cotswold Canals in Pictures Web Site.
