The Hitachi Super Express Train is the new generation of high speed trains which will operate on the Great Western Main Line after it is electrified, and on other inter-city routes in Britain. The trains will be assembled at a new factory in the north of England and the GW trains will be maintained at depots in Bristol, Swansea and west London.
