Description
The presentation will survey the main Additive Layer Manufacturing technologies, highlighting recent innovations and demonstrating how they may be suitable for businesses to adopt into their manufacturing processes. The talk will showcase some of the work done by the Centre for Additive Layer Manufacturing (CALM) and the Centre of Alternative Materials and Remanufacturing Technologies (CALMORE).

James Bradbury has worked within the Aerospace and Additive Layer Manufacturing industry for over 10 years, including 5 years at Alcoa Howmet developing and implementing continuous improvement for their investment casting process, including use of Stereolithography (SLA) and 3D printing processes.
