Welcome to the South Western Railway Division Centre

Welcome to the website for the South Western Centre of the Railway Division of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers - IMechE. We hold meetings approximately monthly from September to April to which everyone is welcome.

Our programme of events for 2022/23 has now been added, please browse and we hope to see you at as many events as possible.

If you would like a PDF copy of our programme please click here. Please note that the Chairman's Address event shown on the printed programme for 19 September has been rearranged for WEDNESDAY 2 NOVEMBER (same times and location)

Most of the events will have greater detail added later, so please diary the time and date and keep looking at our website for further details.

We hope to have some of the events as hybrid meetings this year, as details become clearer they will be added to each event - but in the meantime we hope as many people as possible will be able to attend at the actual location.

Our AGM for 2022-23 will be held on 24 April 2023. If you have any suggestions for future lectures, technical visits or other matters, or would like to be considered for a position on the Committee, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
