This lecture looks at the Ford solution for engine downsizing - the Ecoboost strategy, the factors behind the strategy and some technical highlights of the newest 1.0L 3 cylinder Ecoboost engine, recently voted International Engine of the Year 2012.

Refreshments from 6:30pm.  Lecture to begin at 7pm at the John Stanley Bell (JSB) Lecture Theatre

Lecture theatre directions from main reception:
Go up the stairs to the left of reception. Left through the door and up the stairs to the next floor (D floor - or alternatively take the lift to D floor).  Go through the doors to the right and take the right at the end of the passageway.  Take the first left and the John Stanley Bell lecture theatre is straight on through the double doors

Parking is via visitors’ parking permit which can be collected from the main University Reception in the Richmond Building.  Access to the main University entrance is through the security gate off the Great Horton Road (Sat. Nav. post code: BD7 1AZ).
