Yes, the booking process is open to non members also. If this is your first time you will have to register for an account which can be used again for future event bookings. The registation process is one time and will not take more than 2 minutes. If you already created an account to book an event on IMechE nearyou website, you can use the same login details.

A simple step by step guide to help you through the event booking process:

1. Select the  number of tickets you require from the drop down list at the top of the event listing. 

2. Click the "Book Now" link on the event page of the event you are interested in.

3. You will be taken to the shopping cart page. 

4. If you would like to book for multiple events, please repeat the above steps for each event you would like to attend.

5. Your selections should now be updated to your shopping cart.

6. Update number of places if required and click proceed. 

7. If you already have an account or previously booked an event then enter your email address and password to sign in.

8. If this is your first time, then enter your email address and select "No, I do not have an account" (Please refer to How to create an account). 

9. Once signed in click complete order to confirm your booking.

All done. See you at the event. 

Both members and non members can create an account on this website to register for events.

Follow the steps on how to book events to take you to the Shopping cart screen.

In this screen you will be given option to sign in or register.

Select "No, I do not have an account" to register a new account.

Just add your Name, confirm your email address and provide a password to register.
