The East Yorkshire Area benefits from a vibrant Young Members panel comprising IMechE members  who have not achieved corporate membership status (Chartered, Incorporated, EngTech), or has been so for less than 10 years.  The group comprises students at FE, HE & Post Graduate Level and younger engineers already in the world of work.

The panel has an exciting program of activities planned including organisation of the ‘Speak Out for Engineering’ local area competition in addition to offering a great opportunity for networking, free training on interview skills etc. delivered by leading skills providers.

In the competitive world of work being able to cite such out of hour’s activities and early responsibility is often a winning differentiator to secure that prize job at interview!
