Owned and operated by px Group, Saltend Chemicals Park is a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses strategically positioned on the banks of the Humber, at the heart of the UK's Energy Estuary.

Ian Livingston, a Project Manager with Equinor UK Ltd, will present a general overview of potential energy transition schemes to low carbon for Saltend Chemicals Park near Hedon, East Yorkshire, and also the Humber Area's potential role in this and other such projects, including those that Equinor and others are developing in the region, plus the opportunities that they could bring. 

This lecture is "in person" only and will not be recorded or live-streamed. It is FREE to attend and open to all! Non-members of IMechE are very welcome to attend. 

Light refreshments & networking will be available from 6.30pm, with the lecture commencing at 7pm.

The lecture will be held in Room WILB-LT01 of the Wilberforce Building - no.29 on the campus map. Free parking will be available in the nearby Wilberforce Car Park.
