This webinar examines how the food and beverage sector is reframing wastewater from a regulatory and operational burden into a strategic asset. With contributions from PepsiCo, Carlsberg Britvic and Grundfos, it brings together the standards-setter, the operator, and the technology partner to show what world-class water stewardship looks like in practice — and where the next decade of gains will come from.

Topics covered include:

  • Setting the standard: PepsiCo's global water framework — Net Water Positive, watershed-level thinking, and what “good” looks like at portfolio scale.
  • The operator's reality: how a global standard becomes a commissioned project on a working factory floor, and the engineering decisions that follow.
  • The business case for water: how water projects are scoped, justified and paid back.
  • Proven recovery technologies: filtration, backwash recovery and RO polishing — what's mature, what works, and what the results actually look like.
  • Closing the loop: moving from non-contact reuse to reuse in contact applications, and what that demands technically.
  • From waste to worth: circular economies, beverage wastewater as a feedstock for other industries, and the role of digital monitoring in unlocking the next phase.

By the end of the session, attendees will understand how standards, operations, and technology come together to drive measurable water and waste outcomes in food and beverage manufacturing — and how the same principles translate across the wider process industries.

Webinar Plan
