In the Netherlands, legislation regarding the inspection of pressure equipment is directive, and the requirements regarding how to do so are very narrowly defined.
In the recent past, this meant that all designated pressure equipment had to be opened, cleaned, and visually inspected internally.
The alternative to this was risk-based inspection. However, to be allowed to use RBI, a stringent set of requirements had to be met, making this essentially only feasible for large installation operators.
There was a desire from the market to develop an additional alternative that was also feasible for smaller users.
In this webinar, TÜV Rheinland will share the legislation structure, the steps in the process taken to move to the implementation of Non-Intrusive inspection and the requirements for the execution of Non-Intrusive Inspection.
Webinar Plan
- Introduction of speaker by chair (5 mins)
- Historical and current legislation structure (15 minutes)
- Requirements for the execution of Non-Intrusive Inspection (10 minutes)
- Simplified user case (10 minutes)
- Q and A session (10 mins) - The speaker and panel will take your questions from the chat and answer them at the end of the session
