Description
Agemaspark is an established precision engineering company that services the civil & military aerospace, power generation, oil & gas, medical, and food & drink industries, supplying plastic mould tools, tooling aids and individual components.
Following a recent successful government funded R&D project to develop new techniques to improve plastic injection mould tools, Agemaspark has invested in laser metal additive manufacturing facilities. This will enable mould tool cores and cavities to be 3D printed with conformal cooling channels that follow the contours of the component, thereby delivering faster mould cycle times and improving quality by up to 20%.
Using examples of current projects, this webinar will demonstrate how metal additive manufacturing and conformal cooling works, and the technical and environmental advantages that this technology can deliver to the plastic moulding industry.
