The IMechE Student Chapter at Heriot-Watt University brings to you the WILO pump competition in association with WILO. The competition is based on the exit jet of water from a fluid pump. Participants are to build an efficient pump rig which is capable of emitting water over a distance. The competition is divided into two sections, the first being that of theoretical calculations for flow, and the second section being physical construction of the pump & pipeline system.

The final Winner of SOFE MEA Region will go to New Zealand next year in February to compete in SOFE International Final.
