Welcome to the Oceania Region

The Oceania Region is led by a Region Committee and also represented by Panels in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA and New Zealand.  We have active Panel Chairs who organise events such as technical lectures and social gatherings for the membership.

For those seeking to become members, the Region is also able to facilitate Professional Review Interviews using Australian or NZ based assessors.

The President of the IMechE will visit the Oceania Region in 2025

The Oceania Region is pleased to be selected to host the visit of Mr Matt Garside, the 140th and the current President of the IMechE in the fourth quarter of 2025.  The Oceania Region Committee is currently busy planning for the visit which will include site visits and presentations to the local membership in Australia and New Zealand.
