The innovative strategy involves arranging for both established and young members to engage in dialogue with each other.

This approach has received endorsements from IMechE HQ, the British High Commissioner to Singapore, the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, IES Exco, and the institutions that will be present at the meeting.

The goal of the event is to focus on listening rather than telling, and to persuade attendees to become advocates for the change. Decision-makers from various institutions have been invited to commit resources for future gatherings.

The meeting will feature representatives from 13 local organizations, 3 schools, industrial partners, academia, and observers.
