Mentor Scheme
The South East Asia Mentorship Scheme (SEAMS) is created by the IMechE South East Asia Young Member Representative to help provide guidance and tips for young professional engineers in South East Asia who wish to pursue professional registration with the Institution.
Description
This scheme is designed to enable early career engineers to learn how to articulate their career goals, pursue them and reflect it towards meeting the Engineer Council UK SPEC competence areas. You will need to be an IMechE associate member to join this scheme and the opportunity to connect with mentors. Please note that this is being offered on a first come first serve basis.
For the IMechE mentor, you will need to be a CENG active member, with at least 10 years of experience/exposure/insight in guiding and leading young engineers within your industry and have some experience as an assessor in an IMechE Professional Review Interview. Do note that this is a volunteer position and it can also count as an activity to meet with your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) obligations under the Engineering Council
