The tour will be of a machine, welding and assembly shop that is used in the manufacture primarily of Oilfield Equipment including large, high pressure Wellheads, Christmas Trees and Control Systems. The TechnipFMC site although deploying traditional machining methods uses sophisticated CNC multi-axis machine centres and welding machines, along with some interesting levels of control and automation in the assembly shops.
