Materials and devices for spinal surgery

To alleviate chronic back-pain, sufferers have historically had the option for spinal fusion surgery. Another possible alternative is to replace the nucleus with a synthetic material. Engineering technology is required for this. This talk commences 7pm - registration and light refreshments from 6.30pm.
