This visit will leave by bus from Lakes College at 0700 and return at 1700 on Friday, 15th May 2026. There will be one (only) secondary pick up & drop-off at Castle Car Park, Devonshire Walk, Carlisle CA3 8UL on route - exact time to be confirmed by bus company but likely to be 08:00-08:30hrs.

Lunch will be provided, but please note that there is no accommodation for breakfast (there are options close to Lakes College). Tea/Coffee and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Part of the day will be spent outdoors, please dress for the Cumbrian weather. Furthermore, there is some walking on uneven ground required to access the demonstrations and hydrogen site tour. Please contact the organiser directly if you have any additional needs that the organiser may need to be aware of.
Members are required to contribute £20 per member towards the costs of this visit.
PLEASE NOTE THE PRICE INDICATED IS EX-VAT. VAT WILL BE ADDED AT THE PAYMENT STAGE TO BRING TO CHARGABLE COST TO £20pp.
IMPORTANT
Attendees must provide their Nationality (including multi-nationalities) at the time of booking for approval by the Ministry of Defence. Please be aware that some nationals of specific countries may be prohibited by the MOD. Members are reminded that a government issued
Photographic ID (e.g. Driving license or Passport) must be brought on the day, as this may be checked by the Royal Air Force at their entry checkpoint.
Electronic devices e.g. mobile phones, are not permitted outside of the DNV buildings.
Dietary requirements must also be provided at the time of registration.
